Victorian Gold Cherub Antique 1800s Enamel and Diamonds Brooch Pin

This brooch is simply amazing, unequivocally amazing. One of those pieces that you can't believe is actually yours. The Cherub, or Putti is so innocent laying atop this beautiful cloud. We don't have much to go on with this brooch. We know it's 14k gold and the casing was made in Poland in the late 1800s. The entire construction of the piece would bring it's history to the 1880s and prior to the turn of the 20th century. The needle is fully hallmarked with Poland assay marks, a maker's mark and a possible year mark.
The brooch's assay mark shows Warsaw Poland and 14k Gold. The brooch weighs just over 16 grams. As you can see the wings are full pave' rose or mine cut diamonds. These are deep set within the bezel of the brooch.
The enameling on the brooch has damage to the left cheek and lower right elbow. There's also believed to may have been a diamond on the lower left wing at the closest wing section to the the Cherub.Item: Victorian Enamel & Diamond Cherub Brooch.
