Offering a rare Bandora Man Hobe brooch / pin with gold vermeil over sterling silver. Marked in the back Hobe 1/20th 14K on Sterling Desi... [I believe this was an imperfect stamp which should have read'Design Pat'd'].

A Sylvia Hobe design from the 1940s meant to look like the Bandora (or Bandura) wood carvings of China. The figurine looks like it is made of some kind of resin or plastic.
