Antique Victorian 14k Gold Amethyst Seed Pearl Brooch Pin Pendant Osmun Parker. A fabulous antique solid 14k gold Victorian turn of the century amethyst and seed pearl brooch by Osmun-Parker of Newark, NJ. This is not a large brooch, but oh... And the seed pearls are the most lustrous, shimmery little seed pearls you could imagine... The pin features a 13 x 9.3 x 6.7 mm deep purple east-west amethyst set in multiple claw prongs.
Surrounding it is a "sunburst" of arms with tiny seed pearls on the ends, and six more round amethysts between the pearls. Total amethyst weight is about 5.08 carats! For those of you who may be into "repurposing" jewelry, this pin could be used as a pendant as I've shown in the photos, by threading a chain through the pin mechanism. There is also a little tube (see last photo) where a thin jump ring could be added for wear in the east-west fashion. (chain is not included) This exquisite little pin measure 7/8" by 3/4". It is stamped with the Osmun Parker mark (crescent with 14k). It weighs 3.4 grams and is in excellent vintage condition.
