This wonderful brooch is a hand carved Sardonyx shell cameo. It depicts Madonna and Child with Saint John The Baptist by her side. The brooch is unmarked 9ct gold mounted with a good strong pin and has a safety chain too.

The cameo is signed on the reverse and has no visible cracks or chips, It measures 4.5cm wide x 5.5cm high (1 3/4 inch x just over 2 inch) and weighs 19.7g.
