Antique 1850-1905 14k Gold Diamond and Enamel Flower Brooch Pin Pendant

Antique small brooch, pin, Pendant. This brooch is unmarked for gold value and not stamped.

Research says that jewelry was not required to put any gold values on jewelry in America until 1906. Pin clasp is a simple C clasp that dates from 1850- 1910. The pin has a crack in it near the hinge. The Hinge is hand made with both sides made into brooch separately and the pin is curled at the hinge and put in with a metal pin.

This type of hinge is also made between late 1800's and first 10 years of 1900. Has a swivel pendant loop where you can put a chain on it. Tested for 14k gold 2 times and confirmed 2 times. Diamond in center of pin. Tested with a Diamond Tester II.

Visually looks to be approx. Absolutely gorgeous Craftsmanship with enamel flower pedals and etching inside the pin. T he pin is 7/8 round. Weight is 4.75 grams.

I do not recommend wearing it as a brooch or pin because of the crack in the pin. All items are Vintage or Antique. Because of the wear and age these items will almost always have chips, fading of metal , and wear in different areas. If we miss something it will be accidental and we hope you will see it in the pics. Age and wear adds a lot of character to many pieces.
