This exquisite, very rare antique 18kt yellow gold pearl and turquoise pin brooch is absolutely stunning. This handmade piece has a very intricate and detailed design. Each curved leaf design was hand cut and a gorgeous shimmering textured pattern was hand carved on the front. A thick high polished gold wire was shaped and hand soldered to the bottom of each design. The leaf designs were connected together with thick, strong handmade pins, that were hand soldered to the back of each one.
The brooch is embellished with 4 freshwater pearls, attached to thick, strong pins that were separately hand soldered on. A thick head was hand soldered to the middle of the brooch and a turquoise bead gemstone was hand set. A high lustrous iridescent surface, seen in only the finest of pearls.The pearls were attached to thick, strong pins that were separately hand soldered on. A thick head was hand soldered to the middle of the brooch and a 2.5mm turquoise bead gemstone was hand set. The mechanism pin and closure, which are in perfect working order, were also soldered on by hand. The closure was made with a thick piece on the end so it is easy to grab when taking on and off. Signs of hand workmanship can be seen thr.
