This is an absolutely gorgeous, one of a kind handmade 14kt yellow gold deep salmon coral beetle pin brooch. This magnificent antique beetle pin brooch was handmade from A to Z, by a very talented master jeweler. The 3 dimensional mounting was made out of several separate hand crafted parts.
The wings, body and head were hand cast and a gorgeous textured pattern was hand carved on top. A separate plate was handmade and hand soldered to the top part and an 11.9mm x 9.9mm natural hand carved cabochon cut salmon coral gemstone was hand set inside. The legs were handmade and hand soldered to the bottom, along with the pin and pin closure. Signs of hand workmanship can be seen through out this wonderful handmade work of art, which makes this piece unique, therefore that much more special.
