This exquisite, handmade 14kt yellow gold pearl and sapphire brooch is simply, breathtaking. This lovely antique piece features 9 white cultured pearls, with a high lustrous iridescent surface.

There are also 9 round cut natural Ceylon sapphires, with a most desirable deep blue color. The gems were assembled in an alternating fashion, in a thick circular pin brooch mounting. The mounting has a diameter of 0.83 and was hand cast and hand polished to a bright finish. There is a thick, strong pin and mechanism that is in perfect working order. The contrast between the bright white pearls and the deep blue sapphires is simply beautiful.
