This very elegant, handmade 14kt yellow gold pink sapphire, turquoise and pearl open heart pin brooch is absolutely beautiful. The contrast of colors is simply amazing. The hand cast open heart mounting has a gorgeous high polished ribbed design that sparkles in any lighting. The brooch is adorned with 5 natural round cut pink sapphire gemstones, with a most desirable translucent pink color and 5 natural round cabochon cut blue turquoise gems.
The gemstones were hand set into thick heads that were hand soldered together and hand soldered to the mounting. This piece also features a white freshwater pearl, with a high lustrous iridescent surface. The pearl was attached to thick, strong pin that holds it securely in place.
