This exquisite, one of kind, 1930's antique handmade pearl and diamond brooch is simply, breathtaking.

This is an estate piece that was made to order for a very wealthy client and it is very high end. There is a large 9mm white freshwater pearl, with a high lustrous, iridescent surface, centering this magnificent piece. When a pearl is of a very high quality, it has a high reflective surface, which is seen in only the finest of pearls. It is surrounded by 20 - 3mm white freshwater pearls and 6 F- color, VVS2- clarity, natural not enhanced, bright, white near colorless brilliant cut diamonds, sparkling with a wide array of all the bright and vivid colors of the rainbow. These diamonds have a perfect dispersion of light, so they are extremely fiery and bright.

The contrast between the sparkle of the diamonds and the lustrous sheen of the pearls, is amazing. All of the gems were set in a thick, solid, very strong handmade brooch mounting. The mounting was made from several separate parts that were individually hand crafted and then hand soldered together, which includes all of the heads for the gems. Finally, the diamonds were hand set and each pearl was attached with a heavy epoxy, so they are very secure. There is a thick, strong pin, to hold the heavy brooch in place and the mechanism is in working order.
