This exquisite, 1890's antique handmade 14kt yellow and white gold natural diamond pin is absolutely stunning. This pin has a very intricate and detailed design and a 0.18ct natural not enhanced Old Mine cut diamond, with a perfect dispersion of light, so it sparkles with all the bright and vivid colors of the rainbow. During those days all diamonds were hand cut by highly skilled master cutters. The top of the pin has a unique diamond shape.

It was hand carved out of white gold and a gorgeous, very sophisticated pattern was hand carved on top. A yellow gold part, with the same exact diamond shape was hand carved and the 2 parts were skillfully hand soldered together. The pin features a 0.18ct H- color, VVS2- clarity, natural not enhanced Old Mine cut diamond. This high-quality diamond has a perfect dispersion of light, so it sparkles with all the bright and vivid colors of the rainbow. During this era, all diamonds were hand-cut by highly skilled master cutters. The diamond was hand-set in a hand-crafted pin, with a detailed, very fascinating design. The top of the pin has a unique diamond-shaped mounting.

It was hand carved out of white gold, and a gorgeous, very sophisticated pattern was hand carved on top. A yellow gold mounting, with the same diamond shape, was hand-carved, and the two parts were skillfully hand soldered together. A smaller diamond-shaped white gold head was hand-carved and attached to the mounting, with thick gold pins hand soldered to the back.

Before modern times white gold was manufactured only using platinum, and or palladium, and or rhodium as an additional alloy. This made white gold almost twice the cost of yellow gold.
