The brooch contains 17 chunky diamonds with high tables and open culets. The largest couple of diamonds measure 3.2 x 2.25 mm deep about. Our experienced estate jeweler estimates diamond weight to be approximately 1.33 ctw in this pin. A couple of the diamonds have small chips on an edge, visible under a loupe (not to the naked eye). The diamonds are graded as G/H color and primarily SI1 clarity with a couple of SI2.
This brooch has a locking C clasp marked 14k. It measures 2" long by 1/8" wide, weighs 5.2 grams and is in very good antique condition.
