Antique Victorian 14kt gold pin. Brooch, pendant with solitary diamond and pale blue white enamel. This is a very beautiful, versatile piece of Victorian jewelry. It can be worn as a pin, or as a pendant. The workmanship is top notch, and the manufacturing details are outstanding. The pin is two tiered, the outside ring being six spiraling, scroll ended arms, each decorated with the tiniest flowers filled with pale blue or white enamel.
The central detail looks like a six variegated petaled flower accented with pale blue and white enamel. In the center of the flower is a beautiful Bobby Dazzler of a diamond. This stone is approximately 2mm and has a high crown cut, it is a Mine Cut stone. Most antique Mine Cut diamonds are a pillow shape, so this little round cut stone is a nice little treasure.
The pin is stamped 14kt and there is a makers logo we are unable to ID at the time of this listing. The logo looks very much to me like the Astrological symbol for Taurus, but that's just my impression. This Brooch weighs approximately 3.72 grams. If you are a collector of Victorian jewelry this Pin/Pendant will make a wonderful addition to your collection.
